Learner Grain Grader

About this role

VKB Group, an agricultural company that supports farmers and produces food straight from the farm, is looking for a learner grain grader in Lehau, a rural community in Limpopo. The role is about making sure grain is sampled and graded according to legal standards.

What you’ll do

• Take grain samples and manage the sampling process.
• Grade grain following set procedures and regulations.
• Keep records of incoming and outgoing grain.
• Handle daily admin tasks linked to the job.
• Help to settle disputes that come up during grading and deliveries.
• Complete all compulsory grading courses through in-service training.

What you need

• Grade 12 or NQF 4.
• Computer literacy and an administration background.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to speak and understand Afrikaans.
• A clear criminal record.
• Your own reliable transport.
• Traceable references.
• Experience in the agriculture sector (advantageous).
• Being thorough, precise and accurate.
