Cashier

About this role

VKB Group, an agricultural company with roots in farming and food production, is hiring a Fuels Cashier in Prieska, Northern Cape. You would work at the fuel desk or convenience counter, serving customers and keeping sales records accurate.

What you’ll do

• Handle fuel and shop sales at the fuel desk or convenience counter.
• Process customer payments and run the paypoint.
• Count stock every day and keep records correct.
• Do other admin tasks as the team needs.
• Give every customer fast, friendly and high-standard service.
• Keep the fuel area clean, safe and running smoothly.

What you need

• Grade 12 or NQF 4.
• Good with numbers.
• Careful, precise and accurate in your work.
• Quick and energetic on the job.
• Strong customer service and conflict management skills.
• Computer literate, with working knowledge of MS Office.
• Advantageous: a drive to keep improving how the job is done.
