Junior Parts Marketer

About this role

VKB Group, an agricultural company with roots in farming, is looking for a Junior Parts Marketer for its Mechanisation division in Harrismith, Free State. The division supplies farmers with equipment, parts and solutions. This role is about sales, but also about getting to know farmers and making sure they get the right parts at the right time.

What you’ll do

• Sell agricultural parts, accessories and solutions to meet agreed sales targets. Commission applies.
• Keep stock levels healthy. Order according to what sells and find hard-to-get parts quickly.
• Build honest, lasting relationships with farmers and other clients.
• Keep up to date with new agricultural technology and equipment so you can advise customers well.
• Handle point-of-sale transactions, including cash and card payments.
• Keep stock and displays neat and well organised.
• Keep learning, both for your own growth and for your career.

What you need

• Grade 12 / NQF 4 with Mathematics.
• Proven sales and marketing experience in parts (essential).
• Knowledge of, and interest in, agriculture.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Good communication, negotiation and conflict management skills.
• Able to work well under pressure.
