Requirements that are inherent to the job

PRIMARY AREA(S) OF PERFORMANCE:
Carry out any of the following responsibilities, as well as any other general responsibilities that may be assigned and directed from time to time in accordance with the operational requirements of the facility:
A) PORTER
Transporting patients to and from wards, departments, or any other area of the health facility using a stretcher or wheelchair is a responsibility that must be fulfilled.
Transport the deceased to the mortuary.
Stretchers and wheelchairs should be cleaned and washed.
The maintenance of stretchers and wheelchairs is of a simple nature.
B) LAUNDRY AID
Every day, ensure that an accurate record is kept of all the linen that is brought into and taken out of the hospital, clinics, and emergency medical services.
Management, reception, and distribution of clean and soiled linen to the wards and clinics in accordance with the established internal protocol and infection control measures are all performed correctly.
Each day, ensure that the laundry and laundry equipment are cleaned.
Additionally, ensure that the Health and Safety Regulations are followed and adhered to.
C) MORTUARY ATTENDANT
Provide mortuary services, which include the act of receiving, handling, and storing deceased bodies.
Make certain that the cool room in the mortuary is in good working order.
Collection and transportation of deceased bodies to the mortuary.
You are required to promptly inform your supervisor of any equipment that is either faulty or broken.
It is necessary to release and maintain a record of the deceased individuals who have been handed over to their next of kin.
