Graduate or Junior Quantity Surveyor

About this role

RPO Recruitment is placing a graduate or junior quantity surveyor for a quantity surveying consultancy in Somerset West, Western Cape. The role is designed to build your technical skills and give you real exposure to the industry.

What you’ll do

• Work as part of a professional team on quantity surveying projects.
• Use WinQS and MS Office in your day-to-day work.
• Apply numerical and analytical thinking to solve project problems.
• Keep your work organised and accurate, with close attention to detail.
• Build your technical knowledge with support from more experienced colleagues.

What you need

• A BSc or BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Either newly graduated or up to two years of experience in quantity surveying.
• Candidate QS registration with SACQSP (advantageous).
• Proficiency in WinQS and MS Office.
• Knowledge of other QS software (beneficial).
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A willingness to learn and to work well with others.
