HR Administrator Internship (TVET Learner)

About this role

Discovery, based at 1 Discovery Place in Sandton, is offering a fixed-term internship for a TVET learner who wants practical HR experience. The programme links what you learn at college to real work in a busy HR team.

What you’ll do

• Help the talent acquisition team with recruitment tasks.
• Handle everyday HR administration, such as keeping records up to date.
• Capture data accurately and file documents in order.
• Prepare HR reports from the information you capture.
• Support project administration and HR projects.
• Help organise HR events.

What you need

• Matric or Grade 12.
• N6 in Human Resources from a TVET College. You must be a learner completing this as part of your qualification.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Advantageous: further Microsoft skills in the Microsoft suite.
• Strong relationship and collaboration skills.
• A focus on service excellence and good customer service.
• Attention to detail and a methodical, orderly way of working.
• Good time management, and the ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Discretion when handling confidential information.
