JOB OVERVIEW

The role supports the Ecommerce Manager in executing the online sales strategy, with a strong focus on driving digital performance and growth. It involves managing and guiding digital marketing agencies to ensure alignment with business objectives, while optimising both the quality and volume of website traffic. The position also contributes to campaign planning by advising on digital marketing budgets and ensuring effective allocation of spend to maximise return on investment.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Digital Campaign Management

  • Assist in building and monitoring Google Ads and Meta campaigns across GALXBOY SA, GALXBOY International and Luto Store
  • Conduct keyword research and refine audience targeting
  • Monitor campaign performance and implement data-driven optimisations
  • Advise on product and collection focus to support campaign effectiveness

Ecommerce & Website Optimisation

  • Support the development and enhancement of the online store’s look and feel
  • Execute website theme updates in line with seasonal trends, promotions and product launches
  • Identify gaps in the market and recommend improvements to the marketing strategy
  • Ensure alignment with SEO and SGE best practices, advising the Ecommerce team accordingly

CRM & Marketing Automation

  • Plan and set up email and WhatsApp campaigns, including A/B testing
  • Develop and implement automated marketing flows to improve customer engagement and conversion

Agency & Marketplace Coordination

  • Provide visual assets to marketing agencies, third-party marketplaces and online platforms
  • Assist in managing marketing strategies for third-party marketplaces

Content & Creative Support

  • Proofread blog content and edit visuals where required
  • Assist on set during Ecommerce photoshoots
  • Organise and maintain visual asset libraries

Reporting & Insights

  • Track and analyse campaign performance metrics
  • Assist in identifying key customer behaviours and trends in monthly reports

SKILLS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Matric Certificate
  • Relevant certificate, diploma or degree in Digital Marketing, Ecommerce or a related field
  • 2–4 years’ experience in digital marketing or ecommerce
  • Basic understanding of Google Ads and PPC principles
  • Working knowledge of SEO and SGE best practices
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Klaviyo)
  • Proficiency in visual asset editing tools (e.g. Canva)
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing metrics, website traffic and conversion optimisation
  • Strong organisational, analytical and multitasking skills
