Job Purpose
To provide equipment, parts and tooling timeously to personnel as required for performance of aircraft maintenance.To ensure the timely availability, control, and serviceability of tools, ground support equipment, and technical resources on the airside/ramp, while supporting technicians and logistics personnel and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements

Principal Accountabilities
Provide serviceable tools and ground support equipment (chocks, service carts, stands, etc.) to external Line Stations.

Provide assistance to technical and logistics support personnel at Line Stations.

Monitor all tools, equipment, components, spares and consumables at Line Stations.

Check all tools and equipment for obvious damage on return to store – report any discrepancies to Line Station SMM.

Comply with all Regulatory Authority requirements.

Dispose of expired consumables as per procedures.

Assist with logistics of spares and components in all line stations.

Monitor all time limited tooling and equipment at line stations.

Monitor and track the status of shipments to and from line stations.

Qualifications & Experience
Grade 12 or equivalent

Driver’s license code EB

PC literate (Microsoft Office package)

Applicable Regulatory Requirements

SAAT policies and procedures

Knowledge and Skills
Ability to manage, issue, and control tools and ground support equipment efficiently.

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Good communication skills to support technicians and logistics personnel

Attention to detail when checking equipment condition and discrepancies

Ability to follow procedures and work within strict safety standards

Basic problem-solving skills related to equipment availability and condition
