RCL FOODS is seeking two Millwrights to join our Baking Division. The role will be based in Pretoria West and report to the Maintenance Manager.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and experience

Millwright Trade
3 or more years of post-trade experience
PLC/VSD Drives experience
Experience with panel wiring
Ability to prioritize workload
Report writing and analysis on job
Mentoring apprentices
Must be able to work shifts and be available on callouts and standby
Driver’s license with own transport
Hands on experience with installation, maintenance and repairs of machinery such as mixers, ovens, proofers, conveyors, slicers and packaging equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the machines do not
Inspect drives, motors, belts, bearings, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions following checklists.
Be able to comply with Food Safety
Assemble, install and/or repair, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment on steam and

Ensure that your department complies with all Health and Safety
Diagnose and correct mechanical
Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine
Direct and train workers to install, maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
Record maintenance and repair work
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
