Part Time Concierge (Retail)

About this role

iStore, Africa’s largest Apple Premium Reseller, is looking for a part-time concierge at its Somerset store in Cape Town. The concierge greets shoppers and points them to the right help so they get a quick, efficient service.

What you’ll do

• Greet customers as they arrive in the store.
• Find out what each customer needs and direct them to the right team or service.
• Help customers feel welcome and keep queues moving.
• Build good relationships with customers and suggest solutions that fit their needs.
• Share your knowledge of Apple products and support services.
• Work a flexible schedule of 138 hours per month.

What you need

• Matric (Grade 12).
• Sales or customer service experience.
• A real interest in Apple products and in helping people.
• Clear communication skills for different types of customers.
• Good situational awareness, so you can act quickly when something needs attention.
• Persistence and energy, especially when results are hard to reach.
