Part Time Sales Consultant

About this role

Core Group is looking for a part-time Sales Consultant for its multi-brand technology kiosk at Canal Walk Shopping Centre in Cape Town. You will help shoppers find technology products and accessories that fit what they need.

What you’ll do

• Give customers a friendly, helpful service that makes their visit worth coming back for.
• Talk to shoppers, find out what they need, and suggest the right products.
• Show products and explain their features and benefits in plain language.
• Work towards your own sales targets and the store’s targets.
• Keep the display area neat and follow the brand’s presentation standards.
• Help with stock, merchandising and everyday store tasks.
• Stay up to date on new products, promotions and services.

What you need

• Matric (Grade 12).
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience. Experience in consumer electronics, technology, telecoms or premium retail is preferred.
• Experience using a POS (point-of-sale) system.
• Experience with iOS or similar technology is advantageous.
• Good communication and people skills.
• A track record of meeting or beating sales targets.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced store.
• Reliable transport, or a good knowledge of local public transport routes, is essential.
