Pharmacist Assistant QPB

About this role

Clicks Group is looking for a Pharmacist Assistant QPB for its Clicks store in Thabong, near Vereeniging. You will support the pharmacy team with day-to-day dispensary work and patient care, within the limits of your scope of practice.

What you’ll do

• Give customers a high standard of service and care at the dispensary counter.
• Keep stock accurate and well managed, including repacking medicine.
• Run the dispensary admin tasks the way the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) describe.
• Compound medicines accurately.
• Share general health advice with customers.
• Keep the pharmacy clean and tidy, and make sure products are displayed well.
• Take on other tasks as the store needs them.

What you need

• Matric with Maths (essential).
• Meeting the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) minimum requirements for a Pharmacist Assistant at the level you hold: Qualified, Post Basic or Learner Basic.
• Knowledge of Health isle and over-the-counter (OTC) products.
• Knowledge of the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) rules and related legal requirements.
• Basic calculation skills.
• Working knowledge of IT business operating systems and MS Office.
• Strong customer service skills, a good team player, and a clear sense of integrity.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
