Picker

About this role

VKB Group is an agricultural company that supports farmers and produces farm-based food products. It is looking for a picker to work at its distribution centre in Bethlehem, Free State. The job keeps stock moving accurately through the warehouse.

What you’ll do

• Pick, check and pack stock so that orders are complete and correct.
• Receive incoming stock and check it against paperwork.
• Dispatch stock on time.
• Keep stock records up to date and help with stock control.
• Operate a forklift as part of daily warehouse work.
• Lift and move heavy products by hand, with items up to 15kg.

What you need

• Grade 12 or NQF 4.
• At least one year of experience in a similar position.
• A forklift licence (advantageous, not compulsory).
• Attention to detail.
• Good time keeping.
• Ability to work on your own and stay organised.
