REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 10. -Grade 12 added advantage. -Tractor operating certificate will be an added advantage -Valid driver’s license. -Physically fit and knowledge of operating a tractor and slasher. -Experience relating to grass cutting with a tractor and slasher. -A hard-working self-disciplined person. -Excellent driving skills. -1 year relevant experience within a local government authority working at Parks.
DUTIES
- Operating a tractor to execute duties including grass cutting, maintenance of parks, open spaces and pavements. -Responsible for maintenance and safety checks on tractor and slasher. -Execute duties according to work schedule/programme. -Putting out traffic signs to warn traffic and public about work in progress. -To work full day in alternative short Fridays (Pay day). -Any ad hoc garden or parks duties as and when requested by Management.
SALARY R181 680.00 p.a.– R197 088.00 p.a.
(Level 11 of a Grade 04 Local Authority)
Total package inclusive of all benefits: R 317 070,32p.a
