Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring switchboard is professionally managed and that the reception area is well maintained
- Receiving visitors and assisting them professionally
- Acting as the liaison with service providers on site
- Monitoring internet connectivity at the office
- Providing an accurate data capturing function
- Providing administrative support to the province including meeting preparation and minute taking

Requirements
Minimum requirements:
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in a receptionist role with a focus on administration
- Basic knowledge of internet connectivity (advantageous)
- Computer literacy, particularly MS Office Suite
Skills:
- Telephone etiquette
- Written and verbal communication
- Time management and organisation
- Administration and attention to detail
Abilities:
- Use initiative and work well in high-pressure situations
- Be outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
- Work independently
- Apply sound judgement

- Willingness to go the extra mile, which may include working long and irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays where necessary
