Revenue Clerk

About this role

Fidelity Services Group is looking for a Revenue Clerk for its regional office in Cape Town, Western Cape. You will report to the Billing Manager. The role keeps revenue moving correctly across the operational branches.

What you’ll do

• Load and raise revenue on new and existing contracts, using sales orders, memos and emails as your instructions.
• Process amendments, increases and terminations on all contracts.
• Generate, print and distribute posting sheets for the branches.
• Make sure monthly invoices and credits are loaded accurately and on time.
• Follow up and resolve queries raised on completed posting sheets for the Payroll Department.
• Prepare weekly and month-end reports, and help branches with billing problems as they come up.

What you need

• Matric certificate, and/or relevant post-Matric qualifications.
• Fluent English and Afrikaans, both spoken and written.
• Strong MS Excel skills (essential) and general computer literacy (essential).
• Accuracy, a structured way of working and methodical habits.
• Ability to work without close supervision, under pressure and to strict deadlines.
• Experience in the security environment (advantageous).
• SAP knowledge (advantageous).
• Working knowledge of full-function debtors, credits and reconciliations (advantageous).
• Own transport (essential).
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
