Sales Associate (120hr)

About this role

TFG is recruiting a Sales Associate for its Volpes store at Pinelands Village in Pinelands, Western Cape. The role is a full-time store position focused on giving customers a great in-store experience and growing sales.

What you’ll do

• Represent the TFG brand well and give every customer a friendly, helpful experience.
• Find the best solution for each customer, going beyond what they expected when they walked in.
• Track your own sales against your targets and keep working to meet them.
• Sell across the full product range and stay up to date with the latest home décor and fashion trends.
• Look for chances to make new sales, both on the shop floor and through conversations with customers.
• Help restock shelves and racks so the store is always ready for customers.

What you need

• Grade 12 (matric).
• A genuine passion for working with people.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good at juggling several tasks in a busy, fast-paced store.
• Able to work on your own and take initiative.
• A sharp eye for detail.
• Target-driven, with a focus on results.
• Skills in building customer loyalty, delivering customer service and handling difficult customer situations.
• Good negotiation and selling skills.
• Ability to plan and organise your work, and to make sound decisions quickly.
