Senior Manager Organisation Design and Change Management

About this role

Eskom, the state-owned electricity utility, is looking for a Senior Manager for Organisation Design and Change Management. The role is based in Sunninghill and reports to the General Manager: Culture and Performance.

The job is about shaping how Eskom is organised. You will lead design and change work that supports business transformation, better efficiency and a strong performance culture.

What you’ll do

• Set up and maintain an organisation design governance framework that covers the whole group.
• Lead change management and business transformation projects from start to finish.
• Strengthen the processes and systems used for organisation design and change, and check that they work.
• Build good relationships with stakeholders and encourage teams across different functions to work together.
• Lead and manage a team, including coaching and developing people.

What you need

• One of the following qualifications at NQF 7 with 360 credits: a B Degree, a B Tech or an Advanced Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Management, Technology, Commerce or Technical.
• 10 years of extensive management experience in organisation design, change management, human capital, consulting or large-scale restructuring projects.
• Excellent knowledge of human capital policies, processes and methodologies.
• Knowledge of organisation design and change management methods, tools and processes.
• Strong project management, negotiation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with senior and executive leaders, both inside and outside the organisation.
• Strategic thinking, conflict resolution and sound decision-making under pressure.
