TMM Coordinator

About this role

Implats (Impala Platinum) is looking for a TMM Coordinator for a permanent post in Limpopo. The job focuses on keeping loading, transport and tipping work safe and efficient in an underground hard rock mine.

What you’ll do

• Coordinate loading, hauling and tipping work underground, so that the shift runs safely and on schedule.
• Make sure crews only use roadways that are marked and approved, following mine standards and procedures.
• Report faults on machines, tipping points and conveyor belts clearly and quickly.
• Run daily safety meetings and oversee the checks at the start and end of each shift.
• Check that loading and tramming are done correctly, and keep the work area tidy.
• Supervise LHD operators safely, and allocate machines to miners based on their needs.
• Make sure machines are understood by the crew and used well.

What you need

• Grade 12 / Std 10 (NQF Level 4), essential.
• At least 4 years of mining experience as an LHD operator, essential.
• A valid LHD operator certificate, essential.
• Hands-on experience with trackless equipment, essential.
