Vehicle Sales Trainee

About this role

Motus Retail Western Cape is hiring trainee vehicle sales staff for its dealerships in George. This is a 6-month fixed-term training programme. It gives you on-the-job experience and structured training so you can build a career as a Vehicle Sales Executive.

What you’ll do

• Learn how the dealership sells new and used vehicles, from first contact to handover.
• Work alongside experienced sales staff and learn from their day-to-day work.
• Attend the structured training that forms part of the programme.
• Build your customer service skills by helping showroom visitors and buyers.
• Follow dealership sales processes and keep customer records up to date.
• Grow your product knowledge across the dealership brands in the group.

What you need

• South African citizenship.
• Matric certificate or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 months of sales experience, in any industry.
• Basic computer literacy.
• A clear criminal record and a clear credit record.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A real eagerness to learn.
• A driver’s licence (advantageous).
