Boxroom Operator

About this role

Fidelity Services Group is looking for a Boxroom Operator to join its Parow branch in Cape Town. The job focuses on moving and tracking consignments, and keeping the vault room organised and balanced.

What you’ll do

• Get the vault room ready for each shift and help plan its schedule.
• Receive consignments from CIT teams and hand out consignments to them.
• Scan consignments and sort them correctly.
• Balance the vault and lock up at the end of the shift.
• Complete documents and admin tasks linked to consignments.
• Carry out searches as part of the security process.

What you need

• Grade 12 or a similar senior certificate is not stated in the advert, so check with the employer if you are unsure.
• At least 1 year of experience in the security industry or a similar role.
• A clear criminal record.
• Basic computer skills (compulsory).
• Good communication skills.
• Physically fit.
• Able to work night shifts and under pressure.
• Advantageous: PSIRA accreditation with a minimum Grade C qualification.
