Sales Consultant

About this role

Fidelity Services Group is looking for a Sales Consultant to work in East London. The role focuses on selling security solutions to new and existing customers, with a strong focus on hitting monthly sales targets.

What you’ll do

• Find and sell armed monitoring and response agreements to households and businesses.
• Sell alarm upgrades, CCTV systems, electric fences and other security products.
• Create and close deals using leads you find yourself and leads passed on from within the company.
• Build relationships with estate agents, builders, architects and other industry contacts to grow business.
• Follow up quickly on every lead and quote to turn more of them into sales.
• Send daily, weekly and monthly reports on your progress and admin tasks linked to sales.

What you need

• Matric or an equivalent qualification.
• PSIRA registration at Grade C.
• A valid driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle.
• A proven record in sales. Experience selling capital goods is preferred.
• Knowledge of intruder detection equipment such as IDS, DSC or AJAX alarm systems (advantageous).
• Strong selling, negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
• Good organisation and time management.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, email and the internet.
