Sales Consultant

About this role

Fidelity Services Group is looking for a Sales Consultant to work in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape. You will sell security products and services to new and existing customers and help them grow the business.

What you’ll do

• Sell armed monitoring and response agreements to households and businesses.
• Promote alarm system upgrades, CCTV systems, electric fences and other security products.
• Find and close deals, using leads you source yourself and leads passed on from within the company.
• Build relationships with estate agents, builders, architects and other industry contacts.
• Follow up quickly on every lead and quote to win more business.
• Send daily, weekly and monthly reports, and keep your sales admin accurate.

What you need

• Matric or an equivalent qualification.
• PSIRA registration at Grade C.
• A valid driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle.
• Previous sales experience with a proven record of hitting targets. Capital goods sales experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of intruder detection equipment such as IDS, DSC, AJAX or other alarm systems (advantageous).
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Good organisation and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, email and the internet.
