Branch Assistant

About this role

OVK, an agricultural business in Arlington, Free State, is looking for a Branch Assistant. You will help keep a trading branch running well, with a focus on customers, sales and day-to-day admin.

What you’ll do

• Give customers good service and help them with sales and products.
• Handle cash for the branch and keep it accurate.
• Keep track of stock and help control it.
• Look after the shelves and keep the store neat and stocked.
• Do general administrative work for the branch.
• Help with marketing activities at the branch.

What you need

• Grade 12 (matric).
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a trading or business environment.
• Good communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
• Good with numbers.
• Good organisational skills.
• Good sales skills.
• Advantageous: 2 years of experience in customer service and marketing.
