Graduate Programme: Motor Dealership Industry 2027

About this role

OVK Motors in Ladybrand is looking for a graduate who is keen on the motor industry. The role is a two-year graduate programme of 24 months, designed to give you practical exposure to how a car dealership runs and to the departments that support it.

What you’ll do

• Spend time in the different departments of a motor dealership over the 24 months.
• Learn how the dealership works day to day, from sales to back-office tasks.
• Use MS Office for everyday reporting and admin work.
• Keep records accurate and handle information with care.
• Work with customers and colleagues in both Afrikaans and English.
• Take on increasing responsibility as you learn the business.

What you need

• A relevant degree in finance, marketing or business management.
• A valid driver’s licence.
• Good communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English.
• Computer literacy, including MS Office.
• Good numerical ability.
• Good organisational skills.
• The ability to work well under pressure.
• The ability to keep information confidential.
• The ability to build and keep good working relationships.
• A genuine interest in the motor industry (advantageous).
