Branch Assistant

About this role

OVK, based in Fouriesburg in the Free State, is hiring a Branch Assistant for its trading branch. You will help keep the branch running smoothly, with a focus on customers, sales and day-to-day admin.

What you’ll do

• Give customers friendly, helpful service and help grow sales.
• Handle cash and keep your till work accurate.
• Keep track of stock levels and help control stock.
• Keep shelves neat, stocked and attractive for customers.
• Carry out general office and admin tasks.
• Carry out other duties assigned to you by the branch.

What you need

• Grade 12 (matric).
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a trading or retail environment.
• Good Afrikaans and English, both spoken and written.
• Computer skills, including MS Office.
• Good with numbers.
• Good organisational skills.
• Good sales skills.
• Advantageous: 2 years of experience in customer service and marketing.
