About this role
Fidelity Services Group is hiring a CIT Driver for its Parow branch in Cape Town. You will drive cash-in-transit vehicles that move crew and custodians to collect and deliver clients’ money, and you will keep proof of every pickup and drop-off.
What you’ll do
- Take full responsibility for collecting and delivering clients’ money.
- Report any delays to the Operations Manager straight away.
- Prevent incidents where you can, and report every incident.
- Keep radio contact with the controllers at all times.
- Act early on anything suspicious.
- Audit your vehicle and complete the checklist.
- Drive safely and fill in the paperwork for any accident or incident.
What you need
- A clear criminal record.
- PSIRA accreditation with a minimum Grade C qualification.
- A Cash in Transit (CIT) Certificate.
- Firearm competency, with at least a handgun qualification for business purposes.
- A valid code C1 driver’s licence (minimum) and a valid PDP.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the security industry or a similar role.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Good physical fitness.
- Honesty and reliability.
- Good verbal and language skills.
- Assertiveness and self-motivation.
- Attention to detail.
- Customer service skills and a focus on quality.
- Willingness to work overtime and to travel.
- Advantageous: prior experience with Fidelity Services Group.
