About this role
Fidelity Services Group has a vacancy for a CIT Driver at its Worcester branch in the Western Cape. You will drive the vehicle that moves crew and custodians while they collect and deliver clients’ money. The job reports to the Operations Manager.
What you’ll do
- Take full responsibility for the safe collection and delivery of clients’ money.
- Keep the Operations Manager informed by reporting any delays straight away.
- Stay in radio contact with controllers throughout each trip.
- Spot suspicious activity early and take preventive action.
- Help prevent incidents and report them properly, including proof of collection and delivery.
- Carry out a vehicle audit and complete the checklist before each run.
- Drive responsibly and complete the paperwork for any accident or incident.
What you need
- PSIRA accreditation with a minimum Grade C qualification.
- Cash in Transit (CIT) Certificate.
- Firearm competency, with a minimum handgun qualification for business purposes.
- A valid driver’s licence, code C1 (minimum), and a valid PDP.
- A clear criminal record.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the security industry or a similar role. This is advantageous at FSG.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work under pressure.
- Honesty, reliability, and good verbal and language skills.
- Assertiveness, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
- Customer service skills and a focus on quality.
- Willingness to work overtime and to travel.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and a drive for self-development.
