External Sales and Service Advisor OBR

About this role

FirstRand, through FNB, is hiring an External Sales and Service Advisor based in Kwaggafontein. This is a full-time sales role focused on growing the bank’s client base and looking after the clients you already have.

What you’ll do

• Give every client a good experience by understanding what they need and offering practical banking solutions.
• Work towards your sales targets by selling suitable banking products and finding cross-sell opportunities across the FNB portfolio.
• Follow up on qualified leads from the internal sales pipeline, and find new leads through your own contacts and other channels.
• Manage each sale from start to finish: keep the client updated, help with the application, prepare the credit proposal, and handle any questions after the sale.
• Keep up to date on products, pricing and processes, and follow the governance and audit rules that apply to your work.
• Watch market trends and competitor activity, and spot new business opportunities.

What you need

• A FSCA-recognised FAIS-relevant NQF Level 5 qualification, or a higher qualification.
• Completed the First Level Regulatory Examination.
• A clear credit record. A credit record check is part of the process under the National Credit Act (NCA).
• A drive to hit targets and build good relationships with clients.
