Fleet Fitment Technician (Tracking)

About this role

Fidelity Services Group is looking for a technician to work in Krugersdorp, Gauteng. The role focuses on fitting and maintaining vehicle tracking devices, with work done both on site and by remote support.

What you’ll do

• Install tracking hardware to a high standard and within the timelines set for each job.
• Repair, maintain and install tracking systems.
• Give product support on site and remotely.
• Handle technical questions and queries from clients.
• Help with technical evaluations and repairs.
• Look after stock and the tools in your company vehicle.
• Give clear, detailed feedback to colleagues and other internal teams.

What you need

• Matric.
• A valid driver’s licence, code B.
• At least 3 years’ experience fitting vehicle tracking equipment.
• A trade test in motor electrical, electronics or a similar field (preferred).
• An auto-electrician qualification (advantageous).
• Good fault-finding skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, action-driven approach.
