About this role
Sasol, the global chemicals and energy company, is hiring an Integration Manager for its mine in Secunda, Mpumalanga. The role makes sure long-, medium- and short-term mine plans fit together and can be carried out in practice.
What you’ll do
- Plan and schedule: Lead the joining up of long-, medium- and short-term planning across the colliery, with a focus on the Production Services shaft.
- Build the schedules: Coordinate the 2-week work breakdown structure (WBS) plan from the approved 12-week plan, and keep both aligned with the monthly planning meeting outcomes and the life-of-mine plan.
- Check readiness: Confirm that planned work is practical, properly scoped, sequenced and resourced before it is committed.
- Track performance: Monitor schedule compliance, spot backlog and incomplete work, and push for timely recovery actions.
- Make trade-offs: Act as the central point for planning across production, maintenance and outsourced services, and escalate conflicts and capacity gaps to the right forum.
- Manage the Colliery Operations Centre: Run the 24/7 operation, which covers the Lamproom, Laundry, Breakdown Tractor Service and Cages teams at the Irenedale and main shafts.
- Improve governance: Apply Siyenza and Integrated Operations systems across the mine and drive continuous improvement in planning practices.
