Junior Merchandiser Intern

About this role

Managed People Solutions is hiring a Junior Merchandiser Intern in Bloemfontein, Free State. The role is for someone who wants hands-on retail experience in the liquor sector and who enjoys building eye-catching product displays in a busy store environment.

What you’ll do

• Work out which stock needs merchandising and make sure the right products are on the shelves.
• Check product quality, stock rotation and pricing in store.
• Set up displays according to the company’s merchandising standards.
• Track out-of-stock items and report them to management and the Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
• Pass on customer issues and requests, and keep accurate merchandising records.
• Follow the store call cycle and keep up to date with product knowledge and promotions.

What you need

• An N6 Certificate in Marketing Management or Business Management.
• You must be under 28 years old.
• You must be currently unemployed.
• You must not have taken part in a similar internship before.
• Attention to detail and a reliable, energetic approach to fast-paced retail work.
