TVET N6 Internship Programme - Junior Merchandiser

About this role

Managed People Solutions is recruiting interns in Boksburg, Gauteng. The 18-month programme is aimed at young unemployed people who have finished their N6 at a TVET college and want practical work experience before they continue with their N6 Diploma.

What you’ll do

• Work out which stock needs merchandising and plan the stock you need.
• Check products on the shelf, including freshness, quality, stock rotation and price tags.
• Carry out merchandising tasks following the cycle brief you are given.
• Handle customer complaints, questions and requests, and pass on feedback.
• Learn the products and promotions well enough to explain them to others.
• Keep accurate records of your merchandising work and complete your call cycle visits.
• Let your Regional Sales Manager (RSM) know when products are out of stock.

What you need

• A completed TVET College N6 Certificate.
• Your N6 must be in one of these fields: Management Assistant, Business Management or Marketing Management.
• You must be under 28 years old.
• Willingness to commit to the full 18-month programme, which is your workplace experience toward the N6 Diploma.
