Junior Merchandiser Intern

About this role

Managed People Solutions is looking for a Junior Merchandiser Intern in Diepsloot, Johannesburg. The internship is for people who want to start or grow a career in the liquor and retail industry. You will help make products look good on the shop floor and keep stock where customers can find it.

What you’ll do

• Work out which stock needs to be merchandised in store.
• Make sure the right products are on the shelves.
• Check product quality, stock rotation and pricing.
• Set up displays that follow the company’s merchandising standards.
• Keep accurate merchandising records and report customer issues and requests.
• Flag out-of-stock items to management and advise the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) on them.
• Learn about the products and promotions, and visit stores on the call cycle.

What you need

• An N6 Certificate in Marketing Management or Business Management.
• You must be under 28 years old.
• You must be currently unemployed.
• You must not have done a similar internship before.
• Energy, reliability and attention to detail.
