Junior Merchandiser Internship

About this role

Managed People Solutions is offering an 18-month internship programme for young people who want hands-on work experience. The intern will work as a Junior Merchandiser in the Nelspruit area of Mpumalanga. The programme is built to help unemployed youth build skills and industry knowledge.

What you’ll do

• Work out which stock needs merchandising and draw up the stock requirements.
• Check product quality on the shelf, stock rotation, vintage and price tags.
• Carry out merchandising work according to the cycle brief.
• Pass on feedback on customer complaints, queries and requests.
• Keep up to date with product and promotion details and share them with the team.
• Record merchandising activities accurately, and make calls as per the call cycle.
• Tell the RSM about any products that are out of stock.

What you need

• A completed N6 TVET College Certificate.
• Under 28 years old.
• Your N6 Management Assistant, Business Management or Marketing Management studies are relevant to this role.
• Willingness to complete the 18-month workplace experience programme, which is a route toward an N6 Diploma.
