Junior Merchandiser Internship

About this role

Managed People Solutions is offering an 18-month internship in Thabazimbi, Limpopo. The programme is for unemployed young people who want hands-on workplace experience and a step towards their N6 Diploma.

You will work as a Junior Merchandiser and learn alongside experienced professionals.

What you’ll do

• Work out which stock needs to be merchandised and how much you need to draw.
• Check product quality on the shelf, stock rotation, dates and price tags.
• Carry out merchandising tasks following the cycle brief.
• Respond to customer complaints, queries and requests.
• Keep your product and promotion knowledge up to date.
• Record your merchandising work accurately and carry out calls according to the call cycle.
• Tell your RSM about any products that are out of stock.

What you need

• Under 28 years old.
• Completed N6 TVET Certificate.
• Qualification in one of these fields: Management Assistant, Business Management or Marketing Management.
• You must be willing to complete the 18-month workplace experience programme while you apply for your N6 Diploma.
