Junior Merchandiser Intern

About this role

Managed People Solutions is looking for a Junior Merchandiser Intern to work in the liquor and retail industry in Klawer, Western Cape. This internship is a way to gain hands-on experience with well-known brands in a store setting.

What you’ll do

• Work out which stock needs to be merchandised in store.
• Make sure the right products are on the shelves.
• Check product quality, stock rotation and pricing.
• Set up products the way the company’s merchandising standards require.
• Track out-of-stock items and report them to management and your Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
• Pass on customer issues and requests, and keep accurate merchandising records.
• Stay up to date on product knowledge and current promotions, and complete store calls according to the call cycle.

What you need

• N6 Certificate in Marketing Management or Business Management.
• You must be under 28 years old.
• You must be currently unemployed.
• You must not have done a similar internship before.
• An energetic, reliable and detail-oriented approach.
