Junior Merchandiser Intern

About this role

Managed People Solutions is looking for a Junior Merchandiser intern to work in Somerset West, Western Cape. The internship is a hands-on way to start or grow your career in liquor and retail, with a focus on in-store displays and well-stocked shelves.

What you’ll do

• Work out which stock needs merchandising and make sure the right products are on the shop floor.
• Check product quality, stock rotation and pricing.
• Set up displays that follow the company’s merchandising standards.
• Track out-of-stock items and report them to management and your Regional Sales Manager.
• Pass on customer issues and requests.
• Keep accurate merchandising records and stay up to date on product knowledge and promotions.
• Visit stores on the call cycle.

What you need

• An N6 Certificate in Marketing Management or Business Management.
• You must be under 28 years old.
• You must be currently unemployed.
• You must not have done a similar internship before.
• An energetic, reliable and detail-oriented approach.
