Junior Merchandiser Intern

About this role

Managed People Solutions is recruiting a Junior Merchandiser Intern for a store-based position in Wynberg, Western Cape. The internship gives you hands-on experience in the liquor and retail industry, working with well-known brands on the shop floor.

What you’ll do

• Work out which stock needs merchandising and make sure the right products are on the shelves.
• Check product quality, stock rotation and pricing.
• Set up displays that follow the company’s merchandising standards.
• Track out-of-stock items and report them to management and your Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
• Pass on customer issues and requests.
• Keep accurate merchandising records.
• Visit stores on the call cycle and keep up with product knowledge and promotions.

What you need

• An N6 Certificate in Marketing Management or Business Management.
• You must be under the age of 28.
• You must be currently unemployed.
• You must not have done a similar internship before.
• Being energetic, reliable and detail-oriented is important for this role.
