Junior Merchandiser Internship

About this role

Managed People Solutions is recruiting young people for a Junior Merchandiser internship based in Klerksdorp, North West. The programme is meant to build work skills and hands-on retail experience for people who are currently unemployed.

What you’ll do

• Work out which stock needs merchandising and how much you need to draw.
• Check product quality, stock rotation, price tags and the age of stock on shelves.
• Carry out merchandising tasks according to the cycle brief you are given.
• Pass on customer complaints, questions and requests to the right person.
• Learn the products and current promotions, and keep that knowledge up to date.
• Keep accurate records of the merchandising work you do.
• Complete calls according to the call cycle, and tell the RSM about out-of-stock products.

What you need

• You must be between 18 and 28 years old.
• An NCV Level 4 certificate in a relevant field, or an N6 certificate in a relevant field.
• No prior work experience is needed.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to a professional workplace.
