Junior Store Salesperson

About this role

Sentraal-Suid Co-operative (SSK) is looking for a Junior Store Salesperson for its Agriland store in Knysna, on the Garden Route. This is a starter role for someone who wants to build sales skills in an agricultural retail shop.

What you’ll do

• Help grow the sales and profit of your section by selling actively to customers.
• Look after customers well and build good, lasting relationships with them.
• Handle everyday admin for your section.
• Keep stock records accurate and manage inventory for your section.

What you need

• Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans, both spoken and written.
• Able to use standard office software and retail systems.
• A natural interest in sales.
• Good planning and organising skills.
• Able to negotiate well with customers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
