Management Accountant

About this role

Mr Price Group is looking for a Management Accountant to be based in Durban. The role leads financial forecasting and analysis, and gives the business the insight it needs to grow.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and update monthly financial forecasts.
• Run financial analysis and write clear reports on the results.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, plus half-year and year-end reporting packs.
• Work with external auditors during key reporting periods.
• Help draw up annual budgets and strategy packs.
• Support ad hoc projects that need finance input.

What you need

• Essential: Qualified and registered CA(SA).
• Essential: Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel.
• Essential: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Essential: Proven people management experience.
• Essential: Confident stakeholder engagement across the wider business.
• Advantageous: 2 to 3 years’ experience after articles.
• Advantageous: Exposure to the Retail or FMCG industries, during or after articles.
