Telesales Agent Mobile Mr Price Money

About this role

Mr Price Group is looking for a Telesales Agent in Durban to work on its Mr Price Money team. You will call existing customers, explain the latest telco products and help them stay connected.

What you’ll do

• Call prospective customers, present product information and explain what is available.
• Follow prepared campaign scripts to persuade customers to buy, and explain products and prices clearly.
• Answer customer questions with accuracy while following FAIS, FICA and POPIA standards on every call and message.
• Record customer details and contact notes on the customer debtor system (CDS).
• Keep calls at the quality level set by service level agreements (SLAs).
• Update customers’ personal, employment and contact details so the right person is reached when overdue accounts are followed up.

What you need

• Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
• At least one year of experience working in a mobile call centre.
• A solid understanding of sales techniques and the telecommunications industry.
• The ability to influence and convince customers in a relaxed, confident way.
• A goal-driven mindset and a drive to go beyond targets.
• The resilience to handle rejection and move on quickly.
