Part-Time Merchandiser

About this role

Managed People Solutions is looking for a part-time merchandiser to work in Citrusdal, Western Cape. The job is about getting the right products on shelf, keeping stores up to standard and helping brands sell well.

What you’ll do

• Check which stock needs to be merchandised and make sure the right products are in store.
• Check product quality, stock rotation and pricing.
• Set up products the way the company’s merchandising standards ask for.
• Spot out-of-stock products and report them to management and your regional sales manager, including any sales opportunities you notice.
• Pass on customer issues, queries and requests.
• Keep accurate merchandising records.
• Visit stores on the required call cycle and keep up to date with product knowledge and current promotions.

What you need

• Matric / Grade 12.
• At least 12 months of merchandising experience in an FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) environment.
• Basic knowledge of spirits.
• Good communication skills.
• A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to high store standards.
• Reliable and organised, and able to work on your own.
