Part-Time Merchandiser

About this role

Managed People Solutions is looking for a part-time merchandiser to work in Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape. You will help products look their best on store shelves and keep stock levels right for the brands you look after.

What you’ll do

• Work out which stock needs to be merchandised in store.
• Make sure the right products are on the shelves.
• Check product quality, stock rotation and pricing.
• Set up products the way company merchandising standards require.
• Keep accurate merchandising records.
• Spot out-of-stock products and report them to management, and tell your Regional Sales Manager (RSM) about gaps and sales chances.
• Pass on customer issues, questions and requests.
• Complete your store visits on the set call cycle, and keep up to date with product knowledge and current promotions.

What you need

• Matric / Grade 12.
• At least 12 months of merchandising experience in an FMCG environment.
• Basic knowledge of spirits.
• Good communication skills.
• A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to high store standards.
• Reliable and organised, and able to work on your own.
