About this role
Managed People Solutions is hiring a part-time merchandiser for its store work in Upington, Northern Cape. The role helps make sure products are on shelves, priced correctly and set up to company standards.
What you’ll do
- Work out which stock needs merchandising and make sure the right products are available in store.
- Check product quality, stock rotation and pricing during each visit.
- Set up products the way the company’s merchandising standards require.
- Spot out-of-stock products and report them to management and your Regional Sales Manager, along with any sales opportunities you see.
- Pass on customer issues, questions and requests to the right people.
- Keep accurate merchandising records and stay up to date on product knowledge and current promotions.
- Complete your store calls on the required call cycle.
What you need
- Matric / Grade 12.
- At least 12 months of merchandising experience in an FMCG environment.
- Basic knowledge of spirits.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to high store standards.
- Reliable and organised, and able to work on your own.
