Sales and Merchandising Assistant Intern

About this role

Managed People Solutions is offering a 12-month full-time internship in Midrand, Gauteng. The programme gives you hands-on experience in sales, merchandising and customer service, and you receive a monthly stipend while you learn. The start date is 1 November 2026.

What you’ll do

• Ride along with Sales Representatives on their daily routes as part of a small team.
• Help with sales activities and play your part in reaching sales targets.
• Stock and arrange products so shelves and displays look neat and attractive.
• Help customers and build good relationships with them.
• Learn how in-store promotions work and how they are planned and run.
• Work with your team to reach sales and merchandising goals.

What you need

• A Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
• Good communication and people skills.
• A positive attitude, honesty and a strong sense of responsibility.
• A willingness to learn, take the initiative and work in a team.
• A real interest in sales, customer service and merchandising.
• A firm commitment to finishing the full 12 months, working full-time.
• Availability to work through the December peak season, including the festive season.
