Security Controller

About this role

Wheco Group is looking for a Security Controller to work at its Gqeberha site. You will help keep the facilities safe, well organised and open only to people who are allowed inside.

The role suits someone who watches closely, stays calm and communicates clearly with staff and visitors.

What you’ll do

• Control access for staff, visitors and vehicles at the site.
• Keep accurate registers and records of access and activity.
• Monitor the site’s access points throughout your shift.
• Report security risks and incidents promptly and clearly.
• Support the site’s safety procedures and help others follow them.

What you need

• Grade 12 (matric).
• PSIRA registration.
• Four years of access control experience.
• High integrity and a professional approach.
• Strong observation skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
