Senior Clerk: Finance

About this role

Impala Platinum (Implats) is looking for a Senior Clerk to join its Finance and Admin department in Limpopo. The role keeps company spending accurate and on time by processing invoices and reconciling monthly statements.

What you’ll do

• Check, verify and process supplier invoices.
• Create and push through purchase requisitions and reservations on SAP.
• Update management accounting reports and other finance reports.
• Handle office administration and filing for the team.
• Take on ad hoc tasks and projects that support your development plan or the department’s needs.
• Move between sections within the wider Finance and Admin department when needed.
• Work overtime when you are asked to.

What you need

• Grade 12 / matric with Mathematics.
• Computer literacy, including MS Office and SAP (essential).
• Knowledge or experience of the accounts payable process (essential).
• Knowledge of the costing process flow.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• A medical certificate, or being medically fit enough to get one (essential).
• No criminal record.
• A valid driver’s licence.
• A financial qualification (advantageous).
