Treasury Clerk

About this role

Pedros is looking for a Treasury Clerk to join its Finance team in Newlands East, KwaZulu-Natal. The role supports the treasury function by handling payments and beneficiaries for the company’s corporate stores.

What you’ll do

• Load EFT payments for corporate stores on the Nedbank Business Banking Portal.
• Load Imali payments for corporate stores on the same portal.
• Create and keep beneficiary records up to date on the banking platform.
• Prepare the “Due Now” email for the Financial Manager, following payment deadlines and internal procedures.
• Send payment packs to the Financial Manager on time.
• Check payments submitted by Creditors Clerks and raise queries where something looks wrong.
• Give backup support to the Accounts Payable Supervisor when needed.

What you need

• Matric (Grade 12).
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar treasury or finance role.
• A strong working knowledge of the Nedbank Business Banking Portal.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
